A question has recently been asked by one of our DDAR Staff Support collegues:
I have attended a number of trainings (in person and via ZOOM, held by departments such as Prospect Tracking, Facilities Naming, WorkLion, AWA by Amy Grattan, SIMBA by Debbie Meder, PEP Talks by DDAR Staff Support) that are official DDAR/staff trainings, but do not show up on my LRN transcript. Is there a way to get credit for those trainings and have them show up on my LRN transcript so that they count towards my DDAR metrics?
Answer:
Those trainings are part of separate systems than the LRN trainings, and do not count toward the LRN training goal. Essentially, those trainings are part of your base job function – the DDAR trainings you need to do in order to perform your job duties. The “stretch” piece of the equation is that the LRN trainings allow for personal development/professional growth and can help you be better at your job – but they’re not required. So that’s why they were selected as a stretch goal. Annual compliance training is on LRN but doesn’t count toward your goal for the same reason.
