One of my gift officers asked me this questions:
is there an easy way for us to find out how much $$ comes through a specific fund? for example, how much comes through the army ROTC program in a year? My ALG had a donor ask this question.
Hello,
If you are looking in AWA, you can do a transaction search by the allocation or appeal code. You can search using the binoculars and Gift-Transaction, and add the information for the fund, and when I do this, I select the fiscal year and search. Now this will only give you the total that has come in as gifts. We have a data person in our office that can pull reports on the back end (data warehouse) and get much more specific totals.
Thanks!
Becky
Tracking Funds:
Use the ABI Tool on AWA under PSU Links
Click on:
On-Demand Reports
Scroll to the bottom under “Other Reports”
The click “Gifting Totals by Allocation and/or Fund Code”
