I have never set up a Zoom meeting before, but need to do this for one of my boss’s for a Zoom meeting he is hosting this coming Monday, October 22. I completed everything on the meeting set up page, but when I put in his email as the Alternative Host I get this message: “mjt118@psu.edu is not associated with a Zoom account”
Does anyone know what this means and what my next step should be?

Hi Karen, I hope someone else is able to help you with your question. I was only able to find an article on this topic.
https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/208220166-Alternative-Host
There is a “submit a request” link at the top of the page where you could ask the question.
When I set the Zoom meeting up for last week’s DDAR Staff Support Training with Ken Graham, I was able to add Dan Hansel as an alternate host and it went through okay without a pop-up message.
Hi Jill,
Thanks for the reply! Karen Helsley was able to help me out on this. Mark’s email is not associated with a Zoom account because he has never used Zoom. That is why he could not be listed as an alternative host. Once he signs in to participate in the Zoom meeting this morning he will be able to be listed as an alternative host for any future meeting I set up for him. For this meeting I did not enter anything under alternative host, so I am good to go!
FYI – when I posted this question on Friday I selected to receive a notification if someone replied, which did not happen. I only knew you replied because you personally emailed me.
